The XD's have excellent ergonomics, making the pistol easy to aim and allowing for faster follow up shots. These pistols also feature four safeties, two internal and two external. They have an internal striker block/drop, and internal action block so the gun won't fire out of battery, a trigger safety and a grip safety. The gun also features a loaded chamber indicator that can be seen as well as felt and a cocking indicator.
